Start from an example

Choose the smallest source-complete example that already proves the behavior you need.

Use the installed dino-ping skill to access the examples. Its references/examples.md file contains the catalog. Complete source trees are in its agents/ directory.

Each example includes its flow, agent configuration, lifecycle audio, README, and rendered preview. Integration examples also include agent-owned source and local execution cases.

Choose the pattern

ExampleStart here when you need
F01 Basic EndOne objective with a clear success or failure close.
F02 Linear RoutingA few ordered decision checkpoints without external tools.
F03 Triage DispatchOne-of-N routing and a structured terminal disposition.
F04 Nested DispatchA large triage tree with a second routing layer.
F05 End + Post LoggingCaller close followed by off-mic result capture.
F06 Multi-Outcome PostsDifferent terminal branches with different post behavior.
F07 Premature Close RecoveryA separate structured result when the caller disconnects early.
F08 Stage-Gated ToolsTools that become available only after a gate succeeds.
F09 Wait IntegrationA tool that must wait for a later integration result.
F10 Fire-and-Forget PostMemory, wait results, asynchronous relay, and local capture.
F11 Ordered Integration ChainSeveral integration calls in a strict order.
F12 Integration ContextPrivate trusted context that the model must not supply.
F13 Agent-Owned WASMThe smallest complete custom integration lifecycle.

Use the `dino-ping` skill and inspect every source-complete agent example.
My use case is: <use case>.
My required outcomes are: <outcomes>.
My external systems are: <systems or none>.
Choose the smallest example that covers these capabilities.
Explain the match and the parts that must change.
Do not edit, publish, or place a call yet.
Use the Dino CLI directly
text
# After you copy one example into your workspace:
dino agent validate --agent-dir <absolute-agent-dir>

# For each copied integration, generate a new ID before first publish:
dino integration new-id

# Build only the integrations owned by the selected example:
dino integration build --agent-dir <absolute-agent-dir> --name <name> \
  --confirm-mutation integration.build

Gotchas

  • Do not combine several examples before one example proves the core path.
  • Do not reuse sample integration IDs in a shared deployment.
  • Do not commit generated plugins/ output.
  • Do not copy only flow.json. Copy the complete agent source tree.
